Day 1 : Arrival Day in Reims & renowned cellar's visit 

 

Travel from Paris to Reims by train

Welcome at the train station to catch an early morning train in First Class from Paris Est Station to Reims Train Station (no guide).Arrival early morning at Reims Railway Station. Duration : around 50 mns

Welcome by a private English-speaking guide, specialised in Champagne.

 

Visit of the old part of Reims and its Unesco Heritage Sites

You’ll be guided through Reims, the Coronation City, Champagne town with its Gothic cathedral, endowed with handsome pedestrian boulevards, explore the Roman remains and relax at and art deco cafe. 1 ½ hour.

 

lunch at G.H.Mumm’s cellar and Exclusive visit

Your first cellar visit and tasting will be at Champagne Mumm. 

Located in the heart of Champagne region, the G.H Mumm house was established in 1827. For the past three centuries, the passion and respect for local tradition have resulted in exceptional wines famous for their subtle and delicate bouquet. 

Lunch at Mumm’s private room 

Guided tour of G.H. Mumm’s vineyards where you’ll discover the richness and quality of the grapes. You’ll have the opportunity to visit the Verzenay Mill, an historical monument that belongs to the house and gives you one of the most beautiful views over the Champagne vineyards.

Private tour of G.H. Mumm’s cellars where you’ll get to learn about Champagne making process in a prestigious cellar. Tasting of the prestige Cuvées in a dedicated VIP room.

 

End of the day and dinner at the hotel

Initiating Champagne cocktail. A Champagne expert will reveal to you each secret of the Champagne grapes, soil and tasting.

Welcome dinner at the Michelin starred restaurant of the hotel (drinks not included). Like an invitation to nature, let yourself carried by the flavours of the dishes, the aromatic scents of herbs and spices that come directly from the garden of the hotel.

 

Overnight at the hotel

In a peaceful setting at the heart of the Champagne vineyards, the charming Hostellerie de la Briqueterie was founded in 1973 and built on the site of a former bricks factory. This five star establishment has then become an exclusive gastronomic residence and an heaven of peace and relaxation, perfect for whoever wants to experience the French “l’art de vivre”! During the day, take the time to enjoy the spa, rightfully named “Bulles de Détente”, in other words “Bubbles of Relaxation”. 

 

Day 2 :  Epernay vineyards' and cellar's visit in vintage cars

Continental breakfast at the hotel

Explore Epernay and surrounding vineyards

In the morning, vintage cars will welcome you in front of the hotel. You will be 3 per car and driven by a professional driver.

Drive through the Champagne vineyards. Stop in a quaint production Champagne house and let yourself guided by the owners & producers themselves. Get the opportunity to be part of the team who works on the grapes

Complete Champagne tasting.

 

Lunch

Late 3-course lunch (drinks not included) in a typical bistro and enjoy local home cooked meals in a tiny village.

 

Relaxing Break at the hotel

Back to the hotel for a relaxing afternoon and enjoy hotel’s facilities: heated pool and spa.

Beauticians will be at your disposal for various spa treatments proposed by the hotel (optional).

 

Visit followed by private dinner in a prestigious Champagne Estate

Pick up at the end of the day to be driven to a private house. You’ll visit and admire the uniquely refined décor of this jewel of the Art Nouveau & Art Deco styles, an architectural symbol of the city of Reims.

 3-coursel gourmet dinner served with Champagne wines only in an amazing private dining room.

Transfer back to the hotel.

Be one of the few to visit the Maison Ruinart, one of the oldest Champagne Trading House, founded in 1729, with its limestone caves listed on the French National Heritage Registrar, all carved into stone and stricken by the golden light, a precious cave to be visited with humble respect.

 

Lunch in a gourmet bistro in Reims

3-course lunch in a brasserie settled in a historical setting with a modern touch. (drinks not included)

Followed by a quick visit at Maison Fossier, a traditional house that produces the second specialty of the region: rose biscuits created for the king Henry IV that pair perfectly with Champagne ! An institution in town.

 

Departure to Paris

Transfer to Reims Jean Railway station. Train to Paris (duration : 50 mns).
